It really has been too long since my last post, but in case you were wondering...... I am alive and loving life!! This past weekend my little family and I ventured off to California to celebrate my turning 27 on Friday (June 21st). It was our first out of state trip with kids!! I think Robert and I both learned a few things that we will and won't do next trip. I of course got burnt to a crisp, that damn fair skin of mine.. grrr! but over all the trip was an amazing success!! I love the family that I have and weekends like this really make me appreciate how lucky I am!!

easter at our house
So sorry I have not been posting much lately... sometimes life gets too busy to blog sadly. I have found time to share some Easter pictures with you though!!
Bradley is 6 months now and is a total stud.... Ears and all!
Robby really had a blast this year looking for eggs, its amazing the
difference a year makes.... last year he was pretty clueless. haha My
nephew Isaiah was there to join in on the fun this year, he is 8 yrs
old and is my sisters youngest. Everyone had a water balloon fight after
the egg hunt which resulted in
Robert busting his eye.... so we switched to playing in the sprinkler
instead.
OH!, thought this pic was adorable, Bradley checking his uncle Joey out....

5 Months old!!
This guy turned 5 months yesterday!! I can NOT believe it has been five whole months already... I feel like time is moving too fast with this one. I think it is because I have to share the attention I give to both him and his brother. When Robby was little I used to think, I dont get what people mean about time flying by.... I TOTALLY understand it now.
We started Bradley on foods about a week ago, he is a monster baby and breast milk doesn't seem to be enough anymore. He is only eating about an ounce or so a day, I let him decide when he is finished. We also skipped cereal for the most part, he did not seem to like it really.
Robby is still a stud, in case you were wondering :)

just because
Robby has about 30 toy cars and plays with each one of them at least once a day... its definitely his favorite thing to do. Bradley doesn't totally love the whole sitting upright stuff (bumbo or being propped up) In other news, he will be starting baby cereal soon!! Why is time going by so fast?!

how things are around here
It's nearly midnight and Robert is at work and I find myself not being able to sleep, maybe it was that cup of coffee I had at 5 or just the fact that till Bradley wakes to nurse I'm stuck between two rooms. We are "co-sleepers" in this house, no one sleeps alone. Robby has this amazing talent of knowing if he's alone in a room when sleeping, really is pretty crazy. I have been wanting to post an update on how everyone is doing since its been a while.
Bradley is amazing, he's growing so fast and is such a smart, happy and pleasant baby. My favorite part about him being s baby is breastfeeding. I forgot how much I love nursing, I stopped when Robby was about one year old so it was almost a year that I had not been. Besides the amazing things it does for baby and mom, the comfort and bonding time with your child is like nothing else. I know for many reasons people aren't able to, but for those that are debating it.... Stick with it and nurse as long as you can, you will not regret it. Any-who, he is nearly four months now and is in 6-9m clothes! I think he's officially bigger than what his brother was at that age!
| Bradley had a little pink eye that was cleared up in 3 days with my breast milk!! |
Robby is really starting to change as well. He has been in speech therapy for a month now, although he isn't improving by a lot just yet. I see so much growth in him still. He is a sweetheart and I can see such joy in his eyes. He shows his little brother more attention and affection now a days. I can picture them in a year from now and what buddies they will be!
Now me, myself, and I ..... Things for me don't seem to change much anymore, trying to go to the gym as much as I can and getting enough time to myself to keep my sanity! Really looking into making cards again, I just loved it and think I need to have a hobby again.... I mean one besides kids and house work!! Hahaha

Flashback
December 26, 2012
'tis the season
What a great holiday we had, despite Robby being a little "present shy" and sick .... Our holiday tradition consists of 3 different present opening times (lucky him right?!) First we spent Christmas Eve with Robby and Bradley's, Nana and Tata, Robert's parents. Robby had so much fun playing with his cousins/Robert's side of the family that he doesn't see often, plus he scored lots of sweet loot from Nana Mary. After we came home we tried our best to tire Robby out, which if you know him is practically impossible. It was about 11pm and we were finally able to sneak all the presents under the tree, yes we will be instilling the "Santa brings you presents" idea. Christmas morning arrives and its the one day out of 2012 that Robby decides to sleep till nearly 8am (being up till 11pm probably had something to do with it). He wasn't super excited at first, but after mom and dad opened a few he was all for it. The final Christmas "celebration" happened later that day at my parents house with my side of the family. I have to say this year was especially nice because my brother was there to celebrate with us, he has been through a lot of personal struggles the past few years and its good to see him on the other side of it. Anyways, Robby and Bradley both got so much this year, I am so thankful to both of our families. Here are a few pictures of our Christmas....
Robby dressed to impress
Sleepy Bradley
Probably his favorite toy this year... Mater from the Cars movie that blows bubbles!!
What can I say this kid loves cars/trucks!
Momma's boy, for sure
Bradley and Dad
My sister and her 4 kids, my mom and stepdad, brother and us 4....
..... Till next year!

Guess who turned two!!
We decided last year on Robby's birthday that it would be our tradition to go as a family to the pumpkin patch. I especially wanted it to be fun this year because we aren't having a "party" for him. I just don't have the time to plan anything with the baby and I'm not a person that can half way do something. I was so very happy with the way it turned out, the place had more things to do this year and Robby had such a blast!! slides, animals, corn kernel pits, bounce houses, not to mention a corn maze ....
This weekend we are also taking him to the state fair and my parents are going to tag along as a part of his birthday celebration!! I haven't been to the fair since i was in High School so I'm pretty excited about it!!
